Some individuals nowadays, tend to think in the importance of the extended families role to raise their kids, whereas others are against that for a substantial reason. In my view, a family could be a fine partner to parents in the children's rearing, but to a specific degree. This essay will examine this matter by utilizing examples and showing the point.

Foremost, it is broadly acknowledged that teaching morals for children are a huge responsibility. For more clarification, some parents especially those who are occupied with their jobs need helping to watch their ones younger, and relatives are considered a backbone always, which means they will be that good partner. For example, while fathers leave their youth at home, in gardens, or even with their friends, children may face different situations that need a guide which shows the importance of families' roles. Hence, teaching morals for children is a significant mission that needs cooperation between one family.

On the other hand ,unfortunately it is undeniable the diversity in visions are causing confusion in kids' life. In other words, people have different ways to deal with life issues and to provide it as a guide for younger May confuse their decisions' life. For example, while parents have their own faiths in a certain behaviour, the rest of the family who has another version, sometimes it conflicts with each other which is confused both adults and minors. Thus, the significance of being assistance in kid's bringing up should be to a certain extent

To conclude, I totally believed in much importance of the assistance by the extended family in parents responsibilities of upbringing their kids, but within known limits.

Scoring criteria

Task Response 5.0

Strengths

  • The introduction presents an explicit stance agreeing with the statement to a specific extent.
  • The body paragraphs attempt to discuss both the benefits and potential drawbacks of extended family involvement.

Weaknesses

  • Arguments lack concrete, well-supported empirical examples and rely on vague generalisations.
  • The conclusion introduces contradictory assertions regarding the extent of agreement.

The writer addresses the task and maintains a clear position throughout, but the development is superficial and lacks the specific examples required for a higher band.

Coherence & Cohesion 4.5

Strengths

  • Basic paragraph structure is attempted with introductory, body, and concluding sections.

Weaknesses

  • Paragraph progression is hindered by confusing transitions and imprecise pronoun referencing ('which means they will be that good partner').
  • Sentences often lack internal logic and smooth connections, forcing the reader to guess intended meanings.

Although the text is divided into paragraphs, the overall progression is frequently disrupted by awkward cohesive devices and unclear referents.

Lexical Resource 4.5

Strengths

  • Attempts some topic-appropriate vocabulary such as 'extended families', 'upbringing', and 'cooperation'.

Weaknesses

  • Frequent awkward collocations and non-standard word choices (e.g., 'think in the importance', 'teaching morals for children', 'helping to watch their ones younger').
  • Limited lexical range and repeated reliance on basic phrasing.

Inaccurate word choices and poor collocations severely impair communication throughout the response.

Grammar Range & Accuracy 4.0

Strengths

  • Attempts complex structures such as subordinate clauses ('while fathers leave...', 'whereas others are against that').
